Mentor Highlight, Shaquille Lee

This month NLUMS Mentor Highlight is Shaquille Lee. Mr. Lee was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. Growing up in the twin cities and being a graduate Arlington Senior High School, Lee decided to stay home and attend the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Lee has always been involved within the community by volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, American Cancer Society, leading after school programs in the North Minneapolis community, worked with the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx Youth Basketball Academy, and leading literacy tutoring in the Saint Paul community and for NLUMS weekly study groups. Currently, Lee is a pricing analyst at 3M and attending graduate school at Concordia University.

Lee says he decided to become a mentor because, "I choose to be a New Lens Mentor because I believe in investing in our youth and want to see them succeed in all aspects of life." NLUMS family is so fortunate to have Shaquille Lee as a mentor and the knowledge he brings to the NLUMS family is never overlooked. Stay tuned for next month Mentor Highlight and more NLUMS information.
